Roiback strengthens its team and establishes itself as a benchmark for direct sales in Portugal

Roiback – a technology company specialized in the management of the direct hotel sales channel – strengthens its team in Portugal with the incorporation of Joao Rodrigues as Customer Relationship Manager.

Joao Rodrigues has extensive experience in the hotel sector and joins Roiback Portugal after working for Hotel Roma and Hotel Marques de Pombal (Lisbon), where he held the position of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Coordinator.

Led by Pedro Gomes, Regional Manager Portugal, Roiback has experienced a great expansion in the country in recent years.

In 2021, Roiback Portugal has increased its sales by 148% compared to 2019, and by 517% compared to 2018. It has also increased by 25% the number of hotels it works with in Portugal, a sign of its strong implementation and the growing importance of the direct sales channel in the country.
